A house of Prayer

17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’[a]? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.

Isaiah 56:7New International Version (NIV)

these I will bring to my holy mountain

    and give them joy in my house of prayer.

Their burnt offerings and sacrifices

    will be accepted on my altar;

for my house will be called

    a house of prayer for all nations.”

Jeremiah 7:11New International Version (NIV)

11 Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the Lord.

O : 

This verses tells me that the church, the temple, the body of Christ will be called a house of prayer for all nations.

A :  

As I am a body of Christ, I am a temple for God to dwell in me.

I have to take prayer seriously.

A heart to worship and to pray to our Lord Father.

P :

Father, Help me to pray with my whole heart.
