Serving with humility

S :

Mark 10:45 NASB
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

O :

This verse tells us that Jesus came down from heaven not to be served but to serve the people.
He was sent down to do our Father will.

A :

Jesus is the king and Lord of the world and we should serve Him. But in turn He served us.
This tells me that Jesus is serving in humility.
leadership in the kingdom is service plus nothing.
If it is not a humble serving, it belongs to the world and not the Kingdom.

We do and serve with humility BECAUSE we are Christians and NOT to BECOME Christians.

How do I serve with humility?

I need to follow Jesus steps, to become more like Jesus.
Firstly, serve God first. So I am able to do His wills and then I can serve with humility.
Then we will learn to be selfless.
Secondly,  put others first. Make it my ambition to serve and give with my heart.
Willing to sacrifice for others.
Thirdly, we serve others without any rewards in return. Serving through out of heart.
Be last of all and servant of all.

P :

Dear heavenly Father,
I only want to serve You with my while heart. Help me to become more selfless to serve others with humility.
Jesus I need You to guide me and to become more like You.
Holy Spirit dwell in my heart so that You can change me as a person in Christ.
