Matthew 5:19,20 NASB
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
"For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

If a man, pretending to be Christ's disciple, encourages himself in any allowed disobedience to the holy law of God, or teaches others to do the same, whatever his station or reputation among men may be, he can be no true disciple.
Christ's righteousness, imputed to us by faith alone, is needed by every one that enters the kingdom of grace or of glory; but the new creation of the heart to holiness, produces a thorough change in a man's temper and conduct.
A :
I have to obey the commandments of God.
He gave me a set of rules and regulations that I must follow as a christian.
I must not teach people about the gospel if I broken one of God's commandments.
If I sin against God, I first have to confess and ask for forgiveness.
And repent, not to sin again.
Asking Jesus to wash my sins away using His precious blood.
God's commandments is given to us to follow.
When I follow and do His commandments, I must do it with all my heart and not for the sake of doing.
I know sometimes it's hard for me to abide and follow His commandments.
I am still consist of my old sinful flesh.
However, Jesus is there for us.
Jesus is there to help us.
He died for us on the cross, to wash our sins away.
He died for us on the cross, His love has shown us the meaning of true love.
His have an ocean of grace.
He is forgiving.
But, I must not take Him for granted.
I will always put Jesus in the centre of my life, asking Him to lead me.
He is always my stirring wheel.
He will help me to obey and abide God's commandments.
If you love your parents, wouldn't you listen to them?
And try not to hurt them.
In the similar way, if you love God, wouldn't you listen and obey His commandments?
Obedience towards God is another step of Faith.
Because if you trust Him and knows that He is always right, wouldn't you follow and obey His commandments?
Most importantly, God loves us all.
We are His beloved children.
He would not want us to perish.
He want us, He want to be with us.
Questions to ponder :
Are we willing to let God to guide us?
Are we willing to listen and obey to God?
Are we too focus on the world?
Do we tend to give up easily because it is too hard/tedious/troublesome to follow God ?
Did we even seek God for help first?
P :
Dear heavenly Father,
I pray that You will help me to obey your commandments with all my heart.
Because I love you and I want to be with you for eternity.
Lord, help me in every area of my life.
Be the centre of my life.
Show me, guide me, lead me. . .
I am just so thankful for Jesus for the price He paid on the cross, the price He paid for our sins and His mercy and grace.
I am just so thankful.
Thank You Jesus,
In the name of Jesus,
AMEN
