Luke 2:48New International Version (NIV)

48 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

O :

This verse tells us that we should honour our parents in every way we do.

God will honour for those who obey His commandment to honour their parents.

Exodus 20:12 12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

If we do not honour our parents we are disobey Him

Proverbs 20:2020 If someone curses their father or mother,    their lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.

A :

Every moment of my life, I must honour and thank my parents for the love their brought me up.
They work so hard to bring me up with sweat and blood and tears.

 I will repay for what they have done good to me.
I must learn to sacrifice my time at home to help to do housework for my parents.( Lending a helping Hand)
Spend time with them

Do not make my parents worry too much for me

Finally, To love them.

Even though I don't say I LOVE YOU this three words to my parent, I always say it in my heart.

One day, I will and able to say I LOVE YOU to my parents.

Dear Father who is in heaven,
Thank You for giving me such wonderful parents 

and Forgive me that I do not respect my parents at times
Help and Guide me to love and honour my parents in my everyday life.
