S:

Mark 1:9-11

9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

O :

As Jesus was coming up out of water, God strongly affirms that Jesus is His Son whom He love and He is well pleased. God Beloved Son.

So are we in Christ. What God says to Jesus, he says to 

you: You are my child. I love you. I am pleased with you. It’s 

not based on performance. It’s based on relationship. Your 

relationship with the Father through Jesus. So stop striving 

to establish your identity and prove your worth.

A :

We must first know our position(identity) in Christ and then we can walk/conduct with God.

1) Position(Identity) : You must know and acknowledge that you are Child of God 

2) Then you can walk/conduct with God our Father.

However,
The world is totally different from Christ.

First, you must strive to do well. Pleased man then you can have your position.

The world now only sees performance then you can have your position.

Example :

A student strives so hard in his studies because he is trying to get to the top.

Pressurized by his Family,  Teachers and Friends.

This is not the right way to go . . .

P :

Dear heavenly Father,

Let Your Love fall down on us.
Show us how to love and to love others.

Thank You Lord for your unconditionally love for us.
